First Cut are a new band hailing from south of Sweden and we contacted the band direct when we saw what was coming. Fast, aggressive hardcore on the edge of chaos.
Reminds us of the all time favs Section 8, Final Exit and Outlast.

First Cut is a fairly new Swedish band and this 7" is their debut. And a fine debut it is. Seven songs full of trashy oldschool hardcore that remind me of a band like Outlast.

Songs are about graffitti (nice to see a band bringing that back in hardcore) and finding your on path in life. There's also a song in Swedish on the record which deals with cops fucking up. At least that's what it says in the liner notes.

'From Calm To Chaotic' isn't the groundbreaking hardcorescene changing record of the year. However it is a great reminder that the Swedish hardcore scene is alive and kicking.
