Feeling that there was a lack of substance and positive resistance in the Swedish hardcore punk movement Forever young formed as a band in the summer of 2008. With roots in the legendary Umea hardcore scene this north-swedish quartet saw their chance to make a further impact on the current hardcoremovement and to strengthen those ideals that once made them wanting to be part of a music scene. Once again letting social issues be adressed and given a bigger part as a message together with uncompromising music, yet packaged with a possitive attitude. After a 10 song CD released in 2009 issues of consciousness and a focused lifestyle are once again addressed in the release of another 7 songs; The Chance 7”.
